This is a character sheet of Talos before I redesigned the head. Another later addition is the knot at the shoulder used to tie the tunic in place.

Kaptara! Part II

Here's another character from the story I've been sketching lately. This is Talos, the man with bronze skin and lava for blood. In this story, he's the kid Minotaur's guardian.

I wanted to model him after the archaic Greek kouroi, but I didn't like the way the head looked. After I saw photos of the Antinous Mondragone bust, I tried that head on the kouros body. I was pleased with the results and hope to develop the character further.
